Sherwood Baptist would like to welcome our new Pastor Tim Smart. Tim was born and raised in Charleston S.C. and is married to Brigitte for 35 years. Their family includes four children ( Nicole, Tim Jr., Carrie and Matthew)and six grandchildren. Tim was saved when he was 8, called to ministry when he was 12 and surrendered to preach when he was 23. Tim completed his Bachelor of Arts at Baptist College of Charleston (now Charleston Southern University) and his Masters of Arts in Religious Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Sherwood has enjoyed Tim's preaching and teaching style and looks forward to growth in spirit and in numbers in the years to come.
